First Prize in the Heifer Maiden, over 12 months, class at Royal Cornwall Show
Our beautiful Guernsey heifer is winning again. A cold, wet and windy morning met us last Thursday 7th June at the Royal Cornwall Show. With the show nearly being cancelled due to the horrible weather, no one wanted to venture out of their front door let alone into a ring to show cattle, but the show had to go on so Annabelle put on her glad rags and wowed the judges again to top first prize in the Maiden Heifer class. With the day being Annabelle’s 1st birthday she had to move into the class above for over 12 months of age, so she was competing against the bigger girls and still won.
Thanks again to Brian and Sheila Adams for looking after Annabelle and all the hard work of getting her trained and used to the showing world which she seems to be taking well too.
Next show for Annabelle will be Stithians show on 16th July 2012, Cornwall’s biggest one day show.
