Wiltshires joining us for breakfast

Feb 02, 2012 - 02:05 PM

Wiltshire was the latest county to host one of Addington Funds successful ‘Breakfasts’ in the lovely farm restaurant situated at The Ginger Piggery, Boyton near Warminster.  Caroline Wheatley-Hubbard, who owns Boyton Farm, has worked closely with Addington over the past 5 years and wanted to take her support a step further so offered to hold a breakfast & brunch event at her premises.
The event proved to be a successful day with visitors and local business people booked in from 10am for their freshly prepared full English. Meat from animals raised and butchered on the farm was used along with all produce being from within an astounding 48 miles radius.
The event raised a respectable £1,500 that will help the continued work of the Addington Fund and has set a platform to grow and develop the breakfast next year.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us including the suppliers Boyton Farm Meat, Taylors Traditional Bakers, Castlemead Poultry, Dorset Down Mushrooms, The Tomato Stall, Wiltshire Tea, Dorset Coffee Company and Sharpham Park.
