After much consideration, the Addington Fund Trustees and management team have decided to postpone next week’s Cornwall Farm Business Awards on Wednesday 11th March, due to the risk of Coronavirus.
This decision has been made after consultation with our many sponsors and those involved with the Awards, who expressed concern that holding the event could create a risk to all our guests due to possible exposure to the virus. The health and safety of all our guests is our upmost concern and we must take the lead from those who support us the most.
The new proposed date for the Cornwall Farm Business Awards is Thursday 29th October 2020.
It was a difficult decision to take especially in view of the massive support we have received from our sponsors and supporters. We and our sponsors have put in a tremendous amount of energy into the event and cannot convey how saddened we are at taking this action, but equally feel that it is the correct action to take to keep our guests safe.
Our marketing and events manager, Annie Winn now has the major task to notify the awards short-listers, guests and suppliers, so please can you help us by spreading the word?
We will however be running a Cream Tea at the Royal Cornwall Show on Friday 5th June 4-6pm, in conjunction with The Prince’s Countryside Fund who are celebrating their 10th anniversary. This will be held on the CLA stand and we are truly grateful for their support. We warmly invite you to this event. Please send confirmation to Annie if you would like to attend. Entry will be by ticket only.
Please do not hesitate to contact the office if you have any further questions.Thank you for your understanding and continued support, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
