Working together to achieve more

We are proud to operate the Addington Fund under the ‘Farming Help’ umbrella alongside other farming charities.

These charities include: The Farming Community Network (FCN), Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI), Royal Scotland Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RSABI) and Forage Aid. The Farming Help network is supported by The Prince’s Countryside Fund.

Each of these dedicated charities, through collaboration, has carefully chosen remits and specialist areas of work so that the farming community benefits from a joined-up approach and a wide range of appropriate support.

The Prince’s Countryside Fund

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is a unique collaboration of brands and businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy. They play a leading role in bringing together the five national Farming Help charities, as well as other dedicated local charities, for the good of the farming community.

The Farming Community Network

FCN are the voluntary social workers of the agricultural world, providing much needed support for farming families through difficult times. They are always on hand to help, thanks to a strong network of 400 volunteers. FCN brings together many regional support networks who work with us to help target our own support.

Forage Aid

We work very closely with Forage Aid, a young charity which sources forage supplies from farmers in areas of plenty so that it can be distributed to farmers suffering shortages.

Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution

RABI is the longest running farming charity. It provides grants to farmers who have fallen on hard times and nursing care homes for elderly and retired farmers.

Royal Scotland Agricultural Benevolent Institution

RSABI offers a complete charitable farming service to farmers and crofters located north of the border.
