Peter Jinman OBE MRCVS

The late Peter Jinman OBE, MRCVS served as a trustee of Addington Fund from 2011 until his death in May 2023, following a short battle with cancer. As Chair of Trustees, Peter guided the charity with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication. He was especially passionate about supporting new entrants into farming, recognising their vital role in sustaining the future of British agriculture.

It is therefore deeply fitting that our new grant support scheme for new entrants has been established in Peter's honour. With a focus on healthy livestock, healthy soil, and healthy farms, the scheme is designed to help new farmers access essential items that promote positive animal welfare and sustainable farming practices, reflecting Peter's lifelong commitment to the farming community.
