If you are a farmer in need, and struggling to feed the stock on your farm due to the ongoing drought, we may be able to help with one-off grant or supply of feed/fodder or straw to help prevent your animals from suffering from lack of feed or bedding.

Addington Fund is delighted to announce that the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust has made a generous donation of £70,000 to support its vital Forage Aid scheme, which provides emergency assistance to farmers across England and Wales during times of crisis.

Specialist events company JBE is celebrating its 15-year milestone with the successful completion of its charity initiative: ‘Step on it with JBE’. The campaign aimed to raise funds for three vital charities - the Addington Fund, Refuge, and RSABI - by counting steps walked during three major industry events: LAMMA, Cereals, and the Royal Highland Show.

Addington Fund will host its annual Lammas service in Suffolk, where the charity was first founded, on Friday, 1 August.

In a remarkable feat of endurance and team spirit, the Tesco Produce Team has successfully completed a two-day challenge to climb 24 summits across Cumbria, during one of the hottest weeks of the year, in support of Addington Fund.

In March 2025 the Farming Help charities (Addington Fund and The Farming Community Network) launched a survey seeking the views of UK farmers, helping to ensure our support and services continue to meet the evolving needs of farming people.

It was a night of double celebration for Peter and Jenny Olds of Cornhill Farm as they took home the trophy for ‘Best Commercial Farmer’ and were crowned ‘Cornwall’s Farmers of the Year 2024’, sponsored by Stephens Scown, at Addington Fund’s Cornwall Farm Business Awards last week.
