ADDINGTON FUND COMMEMORATIVE BEAR RAFFLES 2026

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

There will be several raffles taking place up to 28 February 2027. All prizes will be for one limited edition Merrythought bears. 

The May - June Commemorative Addington Bear Raffle with run from 9 am on 20th May 2026 and will close at 11:59 am on 26th June 2026 BST inclusive. All competition entries must be received by Zeffy by no later than 11:59 am on 26th June 2026 BST. All competition entries received after the 11:59 am on 26th June 2026 BST are automatically disqualified. To enter the competition participants must purchase a raffle ticket using the online fundraising platform Zeffy at a cost of £3.00 per ticket. By purchasing a ticket for the Addington Bear Raffle, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.  

A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on the afternoon of 26th June 2026. The competition is only open to residents in the UK who are aged 18 or over. The competition is not open to individuals who are employees of Addington Fund or subsidiary individuals, who are professionally connected to Addington Fund, or members of the immediate families or households of the previously mentioned. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Addington Fund may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition. There is a limit of 100 entries per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed.  

Addington Fund reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition. Competition entries cannot be returned or refunded. The prize is valued at a RRP of £175.00 and one prize is available to be won. The prize is not negotiable, refundable or transferable. There is no cash alternative.  

The winner will be decided by Addington Fund, and the decision will be final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Addington Fund will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the draw on 26th June 2026, using the email address, or alternatively by any phone number entered as part of the information provided at entry, to arrange delivery address or collection arrangements for the prize. 

Addington Fund must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Addington Fund will send the surname of major prize winners, to anyone who emails events@addingtonfund.org.uk within one month after the Closing Date of the competition. If you object to any or all of your surname and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by email at events@addingtonfund.org.uk  In such circumstances, Addington Fund must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. When claiming the prize please allow 28 days for delivery. Addington Fund will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, is not available, or has not claimed their prize within ten of days of the Addington Fund’s first attempt to make contact Addington Fund reserves the right to offer the prize to a randomly selected replacement winning entry selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. Addington Fund does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take up the prize. 

All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to Addington Fund will become the property of Addington Fund on receipt and will not be returned. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to: (a) assign to Addington Fund all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and (b) waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.  You agree to grant Addington Fund a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry [and any accompanying materials], to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, reformat and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes. 

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Addington Fund may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition. Addington Fund reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
