James Kittow is one of Cornwall’s finest characters and James Kittow Butchers is a modern, progressive food processing business, specialising in the production of raw meat cuts, cooked meats and value-added products for catering and retail outlets.

Looking back into James’s fascinating family history, you can see the Kittow family has been providing Cornwall with good quality, grass fed meats since the 1880s.

The judges were very impressed with James’s enthusiasm, his love for agriculture, his ideas to expand and diverse his farm business, and his training programme for his staff and what he has planned for the future of his farm.
