Addington Fund Chosen as Charity for Darts Farm’s 2025 Maize Maze

Addington Fund is thrilled to be the chosen charity for this summer’s amazing Maize Maze at Darts Farm in Devon!

Open now until mid-September, the Maize Maze offers fun for the whole family at just £2 per entry; and best of all, every penny goes directly to Addington Fund.

Addington Fund is a unique rural charity that supports farming families and rural communities during times of crisis. Through housing, emergency aid (including animal feed through Forage Aid), and support for new entrants into farming, the charity plays a key role in helping to sustain the backbone of Britain’s countryside.

Over the past decade, the Maize Maze has raised £21,915 for a host of fantastic charities, including Force Cancer Charity, The RNLI and Devon Mind.

Darts Farm has a strong history of supporting rural charities, including their past fundraising for Addington through the Guinness World Record-breaking knitted bunting and the Devon Farm Business Awards.

“Darts Farm has chosen Addington Fund as this year’s maize maze charity because supporting the farming community is at the heart of our values,” said the Darts Farm team.

“As a family-run business rooted in the countryside, we deeply understand the challenges faced by farmers, farmworkers, and rural families. Addington Fund offers vital help to those experiencing hardship, and by supporting their work, we aim to make a meaningful difference locally. Championing rural resilience and lending a helping hand in times of crisis reflects our ongoing commitment to caring for the people and land that sustain us all.”

So come along, get lost in the maize, and help raise funds for a truly worthy cause this summer at Darts Farm.
